AD half of the year of our Lord. Will be brought to the market every year, then after the "year 0, born in" Jesus is supporting the year. Now you can see, instead of BC (Before Christ) and AD, BCE and CE (Common Era and Common Era before).

In the year of the Lord. We use it as a power before Christ (BC) and AD (AD) should be designated. It is essentially a convenient place to start historical data.
